Since the early 1970’s Tara Projects has been providing support services to the production and marketing of handicrafts on Fair Trade principles, while addressing community development needs of economically disadvantaged crafts persons. Tara Projects funds and maintains a number of non-formal schools and training centeres along with several adult literacy centers.
